I think everybody who enjoys a good shmup should check out Warblade, it has all the playability and responsiveness you might remember experiencing in the good ol’ days of 16-bit glory, PLUS lots of fancy graphic effects (if you want it).

God.

You mean “Sid Meier”, and Civilisation (the original) was released on the PC in [b]1991[/b].

Then again, I don’t find it surprising you’ve never heard of any of these top titles, being [i]that[/i] ignorant. >.<

Ok I have to admit, Ive never heard of ANY of these games. these are for the PC right? One pc classic I have been playing via the Xbox 360 is Sid James’s Civilization. Know it? Its bloody brilliant!
